Snapshots

The Snapshots tab can show snapshots for selected game. Using this tab, you can browse and/or manage game snapshots.

  1. Add button: allows to add more image files to the snapshots for selected game.
  1. Delete selected button: this button will delete selected snapshot (snapshot currently in view) from the database (and from disk optionally).
  1. Delete all button: this button will delete all snapshots for selected game from the database (and from disk optionally).
  1. Show image using Windows default browser: just open the snapshot in view with application used in windows as default program for image files.
  1. Open image location: open and select the snapshot in view using windows Explorer.
  1. Detect TGDB: get images from TheGamesDB.net, which may be provided for selected game as Boxart Back/Boxart Front/Banners/Fanart/Screenshots. This will search TheGamesDB.net for image files, allow to download them then assign them as Snapshots for selected game.

  2. Previous button: select the previous snapshot.

  3. Show selected snapshot number / total snapshots count for selected game.

  4. Next button: select the next snapshot.

  5. The image view mode:
Normal (stretch if larger with aspect ratio): the snapshot will be stretched only when the image bounds are larger than the tab size. The stretch used will keep the aspect ratio of the image.
Always stretch (no aspect ratio): always stretch the image without aspect ratio, this means the image will be stretched to match the tab bounds.
Always stretch (with aspect ratio): always stretch the image and keep the aspect ratio of the image.

NOTES

  • Adding and/or deleting snapshots from the database can't be undone and get saved directly.
  • You can use drag-and-drop to drag and drop image files from Windows Explorer to the tab. This will be considered as Add images.
